Somewhat surreal "customer support" from EA...

So I've been playing "Need For Speed: The Run" on the X Box, but unfortunately there is a bug which crops up about half way through the game. The bug corrupts some graphics on the screen making it almost impossible to get past a certain sequence.
Having tried the EA support forum, I followed the advice on the website and entered the on-line chat area.
After a wait of about 15 minutes, this is the conversation I had...
Abhishek:
Thanks for contacting EA Help! My name is Abhishek how may I help you?
you:
Hi, I wish to report a bug with Need For Speed: The Run
Abhishek:
Please do not worry. We are here to help you out.
you:
Great, the bug isn in the XBox 360 version which makes part of the game extremely difficult and frustrating.
you:
In the "Escape Las Vegas" chapter, there is a section called "Escape the Police".
you:
It is similar to the "Escape the Crusher" section at the start.
you:
The problem is that the graphics which display what button to press are corrupt.
Abhishek:
Oh, Well in that case you may post the same on game forums.
Abhishek:
So as game developers can look into it and fix the same.
you:
There are already several posts on the forum with no response going back a number of days.
you:
Also, the game forum itself is faulty and will not allow new posts / logins; it appears to be down at the moment but there is a link there to contact you guys which is what I've done.
Abhishek:
Here is the link.
Abhishek:

you:
Thanks for the link (I was already sent to you from there), but as I said, there are already older posts on the forum which are not being responded to
you:
The game is now unplayable past that point unless you just guess what to do next, repeating the sequence and mashing buttons optimistically.
Abhishek:
Okay, Well here we just deal with account and billing related concerns and we dont have any clue for in game questions.
you:
So in summary then; I have a game which is faulty, a forum which is down and largely being ignored anyway and customer support who are unable to help....
Abhishek:
Well yes.
you:
Brilliant
Abhishek:
Thank you for contacting EA. Is there anything else I can help you with today?
you:
Is there not any way I can just submit a support request, or you can submit one for me?
Abhishek:
Take care, bye
